The COVID-19 virus has impacted us all in an unprecedented fashion. Regardless of geography, demographic, or profession, this disease is moving quickly and challenging us all in ways we never thought possible.
Like many of our clients and staff, we are asking difficult questions about the current situation. As an HR firm with over 40 years of experience, we have supported businesses and employees through financial crises, devastating natural disasters, global conflicts and more. Even so, we recognize this is uncharted territory in the world of work.
Today, we are reaching out to inform you of the workforce actions we are taking to slow the spread of COVID-19, to provide an update on our business operations, and to provide you with resources to help your organization take the best care possible of your employees and hopefully turn the tide on the spread of COVID-19.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

- Prohibiting work-related air travel
- Holding meetings and interviews virtually
- Encouraging social distancing
- Limiting exposure to persons who may have travelled to affected areas by adding screening questions prior to booking interviews on client sites
- Providing video interview platform to our clients to conduct virtual interviews instead of in-person
These are just a few of the important practices to have in place. We strongly encourage you to implement appropriate measures in your workplace to prioritize worker safety and reduce risks of exposure and transmission. WE CONTINUE TO OPERATE
TPD is committed to ensuring we maintain continuity of services to our clients, staff and to individuals who are ready, willing, and able to work. We are fortunate that our team and systems are capable of operating remotely. As such, you should see no disruption in our service delivery. Our hours remain the same as do the ways in which you can reach our team by phone, email or live chat. We are also working directly with clients regarding their needs for onsite support.

To help, we have deployed an online COVID-19 (Coronavirus) HR Support Centre on our website for all businesses, employees, and job seekers. It contains important HR practices, tools, and information which we believe can help our stakeholders during this pandemic.
In addition, we will be regularly publishing and sharing updates on our social media channels on critical developments as they occur.
