Alley is a senior executive with significant consulting experience in human resources in both unionized and non-unionized environments. Alley has provided strategic and practical solutions to internal and external client corporations in a variety of industry sectors including financial services, hospitality, real estate, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, government, professional services and high tech. Her strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills, coupled with a broad range of experience, provide a strategic and disciplined approach to customer service, business, and human resources management.

Most recently, Alley was the VP of Human Resources, Western Canada for FirstOnSite Restoration, and has worked at the senior level for Open Solutions Canada, Knightsbridge Executive Search & Interim Management, Citizens Bank of Canada, and the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver. In addition, Alley has assisted public and private sector clients with policy and program development, recruitment and retention, learning and development, compliance, strategic planning, and organizational development as a Partner at The Alley Group. Alley is also involved in the community with BC HRMA, the Minerva Foundation, the BC SPCA, and post secondary institutions in BC, Canada.
